The National Marker Company equipment lock-out danger tag informs workers or employees to not operate an energy source and instructs that the lock/tag may only be removed by the specified person. It is mostly used to mark malfunctioning machinery which is being repaired to prevent accidents. The 2-side tag also has a message on the back, which tells workers or employees that only the individual who has signed the reverse side is allowed to remove the tag. It has the legend “DANGER – DO NOT OPERATE – THIS LOCK/TAG MAY ONLY BE REMOVED BY” on the front and the legend “DANGER - THIS ENERGY SOURCE HAS BEEN LOCKED OUT!” on the back. The legend is printed in legible and bold text to ensure better visibility even in low lighting conditions.
