The JP Korsteel Stainless Steel Jointed Slow Twist Full Cheek Snaffle Bit has a jointed curved mouthpiece designed to reduce the "nutcracker" action and to alleviate pressure on the tongue and bars of the mouth while avoiding direct contact with the roof of the horse's mouth. The twisted mouthpiece creates variable pressure points on the bars making this a stronger bit type. This bit can be ideal for younger and inexperienced horses, as the fixed full cheeks ensure a stable, secure contact, promoting straightness and guiding head direction with precision.
